This set break features the Holy Grail of the hobby, an original SGC Graded 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle, the single most sought after and recognizable baseball card in existence.
The 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card holds the record for the most highly valued baseball card sale of all time, last summer a SGC 9.5 grade example of this card sold for $12.6 Million!
In the current market, our SGC 1 example that is up for grabs would likely fetch $30,000-$35,000 at auction.
Along with the Mantle Card, this set break features the complete 1952 Topps Low Series, containing cards #1-310, including the iconic #261 Willie Mays Card in a PSA 1 grade.
There are 40 graded cards in this break, and the raw cards average in Very Good condition.
How does it work?
For anyone unfamiliar with the concept of a set break, essentially it's like opening a pack of vintage baseball cards virtually. Participants in the break buy "slots" for the number of cards in the set. Every slot guarantees a card. Once all slots are filled, I upload the full list of participants into a randomizer tool on a livestream that everyone watches in real time on my YouTube and TikTok channels. We randomize the list, and attach each name to a number that is in the set.
For this set break for example, whoever lands on #311 will win the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle! Cards are then shipped the following day to participants to enjoy.
